I would side with the Kurds. I'm sure we could work something out with Turkey. If the E.U. Doesn't want them, how about a trade deal with us. An independent Kurdistan would be a lovely thorn in the side of Iran and Syria to boot.

I think we need a radical approach to unsolvable situation in it's current environment. This war between them has been going on for longer than America has been a country. This country wants to be 3 countries. Shiites, Sunni and Kurds have already naturally migrated to "their" area of Iraq. This country wants to be 3. Let it. Just find a way to devide up the oil reserves and call it a day. We don't have a dog in this fight so the only thing we are responsible for is supporting however this needs to play out. And sever the war profiteers where they stand. And get our boys and girl home.

No, we shouldn't pick a side in this civil war. WE'VE caused enough problems already. It's already known that once Americans leave, then the fighting between the different regions will cease.

instability of the region was the side we took in the beginning. so we have and we will stay on with and support both sides as we have most every civil war in the world. even our own.

no i think that we should just focuse on trying to get the government in iraq to a point to were they can govern themselvs and we should also try to get the two relgiions to agree on something that will satisfie both of them. this civil war can be avoided.

No they shouldn't pick sides. They should pack up their things and bring our troops home. My heart goes out to all of them and their families.
