i just have a typical question. i know someone thats on the otherside of the world (nepal i'm in america) i have known him for lets say for mmm...3 and a half years will the embassy still be able to give him a visa to come to america to visit if him and i never saw eachother before. Or will i have to have seen this person before in order for him to obtain one? please i need to know this before i get excited and then my hopes are down.. thank you

I don't think whether or not you have actually met each other in person has any influence as to whether or not he will get one.
I have an acquaintance that had met a girl via internet (she was on the other side of the globe) and she came and visited him Stateside. So have him apply for one and hopefully it will work out and you two can finally meet.

The only way it would matter if you hadn't met in person is if you were planning on filing for a Fiance Visa. A requirement of a Fiance Visa is that you must have met in person at least once within the last 2 years.
If he is only applying for a tourist visa, whether you have met or not has no bearing.

The fact that you have never seen each other has no bearing on whether he will receive a visa. Let him go through the process and God willing it will happen. Good luck!
