It sounds like an incoherent conversation. sounds like you have some issues with the others and could use some ideas for how to change the method and quality of chats.
Are you fully awake now? So your kid called you and the conversation was a bit lame... is that the worst thing going on here?
Hey be grateful your kid didn't announce they were pregnant or in an accident or worse a death in the family. After burying parents Nothing and I do mean nothing 'bothers' me any more.

I don't know why so many people had trouble understanding your comments. Anyway, your daughter was rude but is she cranky when she wakes up? Why did your husband call and tell her to call you? Did you ask him to or did he have something specific in mind? Do you call your daughter a lot or interfere in her life? Rude behavior is rude behavior regardless of the reasons behind it but either she's always rude and you shouldn't be surprised or she's never rude, this call was out of character and you may want to ask if everything is ok. People are often short tempered when they first wake up or feel imposed upon and some people are just unpleasant. You know your daughter, which is it?

Maybe your husband made it sound like an emergency. It would have helped if he had said, "Give your mom a call but not this second..she's probably still asleep."
Communication seems to be the hardest thing to get right, and we speak the same language! What hope is there for the UN??

Honestly, This doesn't sound like that big of a deal. Maybe you are a little self-engrossed.

They're not going too.. and I can't believe that you're suprised. She's on her own, and she's her own person now. Not that she's not your daughter anymore, but she's probably busy living her own life.. remember when you were 24?
Give her a break..

i'm there for my stepkids anytime any place. maybe cause they're not mine, i don't know. even if they just want to talk out of bordom, you're a mom, you should always be there. that does not mean for money though.
