The SAF (Singapore Armed Forces) is formed largely out of conscripted soldiers and reserve forces. It is capable of mobilising over 300,000 reserves and has an active force of 50,000 for the defence of Singapore.
Singapore has consistently supported a strong U.S. military presence in the Asia-Pacific region. In 1990, the U.S. and Singapore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which allows the U.S. access to Singapore facilities at Paya Lebar Airbase and the Sembawang wharves. Under the MOU, a U.S. Navy logistics unit was established in Singapore in 1992; U.S. fighter aircraft deploy periodically to Singapore for exercises, and a number of U.S. military vessels visit Singapore. The MOU was amended in 1999 to permit U.S. naval vessels to berth at the Changi Naval Base, which was completed in early 2001.
The SAF also participates in training exercises with the U.S. Military.
The SAF has decent numbers, but lacks the sea and airpower to win a total war against the USA.

I am from singapore and do you know how small the country is? Teenie tiny! Even with mandatory national service, that with reservists combined is still a pitiful number. Besides everyone there is too busy making money than wanting to fight in any war. The US is also allowed to use the changi base and other facilities on the island. But of course the US army will win if in a war with singapore!!

hey guys. pls do not insult other countries, for example the dude's comment which is above me. i heard that mr bush just visited singapore not long ago, but i don't think singapore would go to war with anyone. not just because of the inferior military strength, but also sensible enough not to. pls do not insult other countries

Singapore is a city state, and does not really have a military. US and Singapore get along fine.
Your comparison is lame and discriminatory.
