Moderate alchohol consumption is actually beneficial if its red wine etc. Tobacco is never healthy.

I would have to say drinking. At a moderate level. Smoking is just bad for you no matter how you look at. Black lungs are permanent. One a day or pack a day, your still at risk. Hell, they say a glass of wine a day is good for your heart as long as you don't get carried away. Unfortunantly I do both. Funny though, If I'm not slammin down a beer, I don't smoke. I don't allow smoking in my home not even myself. Now we can't even smoke in the bars or restaraunts anymore. You have to outside from now on.

Both are fine in moderation - both cause health concerns but smokers suffer more scorn for the "second hand smoke - concern". If you are looking to start a bad habit stick to alcohol you won't be shunned at parties unless you get drunk and hit on married men in front of their wives.

they aren't even comparable...my guess is you are 2 young to be doing either, if you have to aks this question.
smoking is gross tho, at least alcohol doesnt make your teeth brown and make you stink.

winston churchill smoked and drank alot and he died aged 82...
