I doubt she is being stubborn..more than likely she doesn't understand what you want. She is still a baby.
Puppy Classes will help you communicate with her. Also read or view some of Cesar Milan books & tapes. Great help understanding & working with dogs.

Stubborn is a human trait we use to describe dogs. Dogs really are not stubborn. You don't give any examples but in working with a dog, please remember that you have a puppy. Puppies need patience and a good teacher to learn. if you are having trouble teaching the pup, there's a good chance that you can look for the problem in the mirror. Most problems associated with 'stubborness' are really an inability of the owner to communicate effectively with their dog. Try attending an obedience class or puppy class with it and spend time learning how to be a good teacher to your dog. it will pay off in the end.

I don't think you can really fix a truly stubborn dog, it would be like trying to fix a stubborn human and we all know that is impossible.
I would take her to obedience classes anyway because she might just not understand what you are trying to ask her to do. I take my dog to the classes at PetsMart, they are really fun , and will be good for a young dog to get used to other dogs a people. And it will increase your bond too so maybe that will help with the stubbornness

Sometimes dogs are really just mistaken for being stubborn. You don't mention any examples, but sometimes a dog will appear to be stubborn when it is really just fearful of something. So be gentle with her. Introduce her to lots of different things, but keep it positive. Never coo her if she appears to be stubborn, but don't force her, either. Other times when a dog appears to be stubborn is really because they don't know what you want from them. Never assume that she knows what you mean. Dogs are not people.
Obedience training is a must. But don't go about it your own way -- get a good book with modern training techniques. If it's available in your area, I really recommend Puppy Kindergarten classes. These are excellent for socializing your pup, and training her not to be stubborn.

My doberman was so stubborn the first YEAR I had him I could care less if he ran away. He remained stubborn, just not nearly as bad the entire 8.5 years he lived. He died two months ago and I'd give anything to take back anytime I was ever angry at him. Stubborness means they have a personality. You do have to let the dog know who the boss is just do it in a loving way. If you are stern without a hard hand they will learn to respect you and obey without losing their wonderful personality.

Ha Ha Ha.
It sounds as if the pup has started training you already. She's just being a puppy.Relax and have fun w/ her. It's easier to train them if you do it as you play with them. Reward her for good behavior and be firm in discouraging bad behavior without yelling. Labs are very intelligent.

Patience - She's 11 weeks old!!! Puppies need training and constant attention to become good "old" dogs.
Take her to a training class and be willing to practice with her.
