I have found that when funds are limited and you want something nice for a reasonable price that thrift stores are the way to go. One of my local thrift stores even has a 30 day warranty on appliances and electronics, maybe you have a local thrift store with the same policy?? Visit a thrift store and you may be surprised at what you find there. Also most thrift stores support local charities so you'd not only get what you want but you'd be helping someone else at the same time.

Check E-bay. Limit the search to your local area so that you can pick it up. Keep in mind that tube tv's (anything but flat panel lcd and plasma) will soon be outdated - as soon as 2008.
Keep this in mind - retailers have been trying to get rid of the old tube type tv's because soon the technology will be obsolete. I also read an article that said that all TVs will be required to be HD ready by 2008.

If you live in the States its Holiday time so almost every store will be having great sales check around in your area for sales ads check online at local retailers...I was able to pick up a 32' flat screen (not a plasma) for 150.00 last year. the day after thanksgiving at Circut City....so you just have to watch ....My mum just got an LCD one for cheap too same thing day after Thanksgiving. Stores will also have these great sales after CHristmas after big holidays are always the best time to buy larger expensive items.

It relies upon on what length, and basically how sturdy is sturdy. interior the U. S., Wal-mart has effective 20 inch television's around $a hundred, smaller ones much greater value-effective; larger ones of course priced larger. interior the wintry climate, we bought a effective 20inch television for around $108 and took it to our domicile in rural Mexico. right here each and every physique has such large, costly television's, a 20 incher seems small, yet in our village in Mexico, that's effective with a sturdy photograph. the only we had until now became into an previous B&W which value us around $35, so this one is extremely sturdy by assessment.
