You need to see a dr. A year ago I had strep throat and my lymph glands (on the sides of your neck) were swollen up like eggs and very sore. This in turn was putting pressure on my brain stem...they did an mri and found out that I had a condition where my brain comes down into the hole in my skull and the swollen glands were aggravating that causing a severe headache that lasted over a week. You just never know!

There are many different things that you can do to relieve your sore throat. I recommended a home remedy such as a gargle made of salt devolved in warm water or a hot drink made up of hot water, honey and lemon. But if you have tried these and they haven't worked for you, or you just don't have the ingredients, then I recommended a medicated throat lolly or gargle. If non of these give you relief, then I would go to your local GP and he might be able to prescribe you something stronger etc. Hope this helps!!

You didn't mention Fever, chills. Sore throat and headache. Go to the doctor. If you don't have one, you could go to the urgent care. You may need a strept throat culture. Untreated it can cause multiple problems. Stiff neck, seems like another reason to go to the doctor. The doctor may check to see if the infection is in your spinal fluid. They will have you lie down and pull both legs up and look at what your neck does. This type of question is strange, use good common sense and go seek medical advise.

Sounds like swelling or an infection. Try ibuprofen gel on left side of neck (where it hurts). You need to see a doctor to find out if you require antibiotics. If your mucus is green or some funky colour (not clear and transparent) then suggests you may have an infection.

don't panic & go running to the docs, its probably a basic sore throat. Gargle with salt water (and I find drinking/eating citrus helps), rest, apply warmth to the area, take aspirin, etc. If it gets worse or doesn't get better, see a doc.

Do you have a doctor? If not, you should go into the local clinic. It sounds like you have an infection.

Try to touch your chin to your chest: are you able to? If not, you could have meningitis and need to go to the hospital NOW.
