I just wanted a little background information about the sorority. Where does the money go? What kind of charities or organizations do they support? When were they founded?

You should go to the official website. They have a very informative one. Google it or search through Yahoo. I pledged A.K.A and there are certain dues you pay annually that are supposed to go into your chapters treasury & to the national Pan Hellenic councils treasury as well. It's not that expensive. Couple hundred a year. But you do need to know as much as u possibly can b4 you show your interest. If u dont kno your stuff.....they'll black ball you immediately.
