I dealt with the same thing with my father, before he passed away. His neurologist put him on Zyprexa, and it made all the difference in the world. Mellowed him out, and I was able to care for him until the end. Before he took the med, he was really hard to deal with. I put him in a nursing home for a while, but after he started on the Zyprexa, I was able to take him home again. It has some bad side effects, but what med doesn't? It was worth the fear of side effects to have him mentally able to deal with himself and me. Ask your physician to try it. Best of luck to you.

Zyprexa, Geodon, or just about any antipsychotic. They have the side-effect of weight-gain, which most Parkinson's patients need.
