I know for a fact that god does not exist. Can you believe me? What if I gave you proof of things that can't be possible if there is a god? Well, seem to not be possible. I am not sure. The other side of the moon IS colonated, right? I know this because I heard it and I don't see proof that there isn't. I know that if something isn't being seen, heard or observed in any way, it is not in existent. I heard it from a guy named Schroedinger, and no one has PROVEN OTHERWISE. Right? If there is no proof that there is a god, or , if there is no reason to believe there is a god, then, how can there be? There is no proof that you are human. You are probably all generated by a large mainframe, kicked in by key words from my posts. There is no way there is nothing behind my head. I can't see it. I turn around, but it turns around, too. So it is always behind me, so it must not be there.
Right?
Well, I know it is not PC to say you are all robots. Maybe there is something behind me. God?

Are you there? No answer, but, do I have to be able to observe Him to believe He exists?

All these electrons, atoms, molecules...why do they stay together? I can't see it, but, they do.
Maybe God is there. Yes, it is a good possibility.
This is for the 'God doesn't exist' people....just because you can't see, hear or touch it, does not mean it is not there

So, maybe you can give me a benefit of a small doubt, and, I will listen to your reasons, too. I will look at them thru other sources of information, besides religious, and find out if it is a truth or a belief. OK? Let's get along. no war or hate.

I am glad I continued to scroll down your question because you were about to receive a lot of scripture "evidence".
Here is something to ponder:
Do you believe George Washington existed???????
Did you see him??????????
Did you touch him or talk to him???????????
How do we know the pictures and stories we see and hear are real and not "faked".??????????????
The same with Abraham Lincoln, Paul Revere, Columbus?????????????E T C .............
We know because of HISTORY. People recorded these event so we would realize their importance.
God inspired the writers of the Holy scriptures for our learning and so we would realize the importance of Obeying God.
By the way yours was a very thought provoking question!!!!!!!!!
Thank you and I hope enough people realize what you are really saying.
HEBREWS 11:1 Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for the EVIDENCE of things NOT SEEN.

Kind of like how the proof your argument doesn't exist. I love when people equate God to mythical creatures and legends. People look to their eyes and sense of touch to find God when in metaphysical terms it really doesn't make sense that he would be corporeal. Our bodies age, get diseased and eventually die. If God were made of atoms and molecules would he not also be succeptible to mortality. Therefore assuming that God does exist just by logic you shouldn't be able to see him unless he makes himself visible. Also, if you buy into the religion of Christianity, then according to the bible many of you are doing exactly what the devil wants you to do. Saying God is in the same class as the easter bunny, fairies, santa claus and dragons is in a word-ridiculous. If you even have the slightest hint that someone or something created the universe there is evidence all around you, but apparently human minds gravitate towards only what can be seen. This is why our culture is in distress and this is why the world has seen more wars in the past hundred years than the previous 500 or so. Science is not the only source of knowledge nor does it even have a good track record. Think about how many years it took them to figure out the world was round. In actuality the Earth is not a perfect sphere. Much of the mass near the equator is pushed out and isn't uniform. So many things science has claimed to "prove" or "know" and many times has been entirely wrong. This is because the fallibility of the human mind. We do not ever know, we think we know from experience and empirical observation. I truly feel sorry for those who immediately dismiss God as a myth or a legend, because if and when you face him, what kind of judgement do you think he will give to someone who never even considered that he exists.

I look at the world and see too delicate a balance to have just come up out of the primordial soup. How did creatures billions of years ago know how to evolve in order to perfectly co exist with eachother. I believe the world was created, but by what, I can't say. Mainly because you're right. I touched on this very subject last night on Yahoo, and had people reaching for their Bibles. They seemed to think that I didn't believe in God, but I did believe in the bible, and if they showed me God in the Bible, I would have to believe. Right...
However, think on this. I think that an inabillity to understand isn't exactly a legitimate reason to say it doesn't exist. I've never understood math, I can't remember how to do some forms of math, the math I do attempt often turns out wrong, and I can't put math on a plate and serve it to you so you can hold it in your hands. No one can explain algebra to me so that I can even try it. BUT, that doesn't mean there is no such thing as math.

Its called Faith. Believing that God exists. But really one shouldn't jump to atheism so fast....Dont tell me you think this World just appeared from nothing. The Our human bodies made just as they are...by chance. The world spins, and we have Morning and Night...just because it happens. We are smart and creative...because we have these things called Brains.
As for the neat, species of animals.....they are happend to evolve over so many years. And by evolving, the food they eat, just appeared for their needs. Come on People!!!! Wake up, there is such a thing As GOD. You have a heart & consious, that knows this deep down. What Proof are you looking for?
Oh, and Christians are believing for nothing, their prayers are being answered for no apparent reasons??? There are some miracles that happen all around us, no one can describe, other than some Supreme Being letting it happen. Give God a chance, dont turn your eyes towards falsehoods and lies. Most want to believe there is no God, so they wont be guilty or have to answer to Him. I do believe in God and know He is true. I see His guidence in my life, and Ive not been sorry for having this Faith.

You don't know nothing for a fact. If you look at creation and think that it all happen with a bank and you grand pa was a monkey then that tills how stupid you are and God Word calls you a fool. Psalms 14: 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalms 19: 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Is there any proof that the third planet in the Alpha Proxima star system is not covered with a one meter layer of French Brie? Ridiculous to even conceive (as are god concepts), but still not able to disprove. In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd

You could never prove there is no God- no matter how hard you tried. Your evidence would not be factual.
Romans 1:20
20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
Hebrews 3:4
(For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)

That's reasonable logic, but it certainly doesn't defeat the idea of a God existing. God is a natural progression from the question, "How was everything created?" You must believe that it has always existed (like me), but it's a reasonable assumption that a creator is somehow involved. Regardless, the fact that we can't prove it makes us agnostic in a sense; the probability of God existing is minutely small, but not impossibly so.

I hear you. Can you see the wind? No, but you see evidence of it. God is the same. He created the 120 million cells and 130 billion chemcial/electronic connections called your brain. God placed in each man a desire to know Him (like an adopted child who searches for their biological roots) and an innate knwoledge of Him. Either we fill it with Him or we replace it with wooden idols (primitive societies) or the gods of money, success and material possessions (of so-called sophisticated societies).
An intellectual read is "The Signature of God" by Grant Jeffrey (I get the feeling you're IQ is above average). Peace :-)

The problem is people "non believers" think man wrote a book about a higher source. but man did not make up this story.God gave man the truth man just put it to words there is to much consistency. many men wrote similar words and there is probably more that is not published. the point is not seeing is believing. God is there he is here he is where ever people want to believe in him it is a choice to believe and pray for those who don't. We don't want non believers to believe for our benefit but for Gods glory!!!
