So, accoring to what some of you are saying...Jesus created G-d.....where is the logic in that?

2006-12-01 03:35:13 · update #1

Pardon, that Jesus is G-d. How can you be the son and the creater at the same time?

Yes, you are right. Jesus is NOT God, but God's son.

First you have to establish the authenticity of the bible.

Once you have done that. (there are many proofs that it is true and is the Word of God).

Then you have to ask yourself this question, do I choose to believe everything it says? Or am I going to pick and choose which passages to believe and which to twist around and take out of context.

I am fully convinced that the bible is true and is the Word of God.'

Therefore, scripture will not contradict scripture.

So, Jesus is the Son of God and Jesus is God. You can cross reference Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (the word for God here is Elohim a plural word)
compare this with John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." and to clarify who that word was - John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten form the Father full of grace and truth."

God has a triune nature, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Those who say otherwise are of a different religion than Christianity and in my humble opinion have been sold a lie.

If that is not enough evidence think of this - Would the author of the book of John contradict himself? He says in John 1:1 that the Word was God and in John 10:30 Jesus Himself says "I and the Father are One"

Salvation comes by faith alone. Read and study the bible for yourself. If you are seeking God He will reveal Himself to you. If your heart is hardened to the Word of Truth I don't know if there is hope for you. Some do not want to acknowledge this absolute truth out of fear or denial.

Deuteronomy 4:29 "But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him, if you search for Him with all of your heart and all of your soul."

That is my challenge to you today, will you seek Him?

Jesus said "I and my Father are one."
He also said "no one can come to the Father but by Me. He calls Himself the "Mediator" between us and God, which He is. That's why we pray in Jesus' name.

Worship the Father, worship Jesus, worship the Holy Spirit, because they are all one.

Easy way to explain the Trinity.

I am a woman. But, I am also a mother, grandmother, daughter, friend, coworker. I am many things, but I am still one person.

Same with the trinity.
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit.

All the same, but different functions.

I truly were a Catholic Christian for better than a decade and function not in any respect considered or heard of any Catholic worshipping an idol of any kind. Catholics worship in straight forward words God in the Trinity. Are you purely attempting tospread nonsense andlies about Catholics? God bless! In Christ Fr.Joseph

Read John ch1 vs 1---In the beginning was THE WORD(Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jesus Himself said I and the Father are one. If you have seen me you have seen the Father.
Genesis ch 1 vs 26a "Then God said let us make man in our image." Who do you think He is talking to here? It is Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

What Christian Canon are you looking at????

The Bible affirms in several places that Jesus Christ is the Creator God. For example, ‘All things were made by him [the Word, in Greek λόγος (logos), = Jesus Christ]’ (John 1:3), and ‘For by him [Jesus Christ] were all things created’ (Colossians 1:16).

Colossians 1
15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.
16For by Him were all things created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him.
17And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

18And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He might have the preeminence.

God the Father and Jesus the Son are One in the Spirit and Jesus prayed that we all would be One as He and the Father are One.

well, why not worship Jesus?? He guarantees eternal life in heaven. Why would anybody want to spend eternity in a place that is a lake of burning sulfur. Would you want to spend eternity on fire from the hottest of all fire. I know I don't.
So the question is why worship Jesus?? So you will have eternal life in heaven, in a place of golden streets and happiness, instead of hell and damnation.

Jesus and God are one. God is manifested in three distinct persons : father, son and holy spirit. The bible says, 'In the beginning was the Word (the Word being Jesus) and the Word was with God and the Word was God"

Jesus also says, " I and the father are one". 'if you have seen me, you have seen the father"

God became a man (Jesus), walked among his creations and died for our sins because he loves us so much.

For starters, Jesus rewards those who worship Him:

Mat 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Mat 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

And as creator, He deserves all thanks, praise, and worship. How do you suppose Sherlock Holmes feels about Sir Robert Conan Doyle?
