You can get some help in the following links, as they give lessons:

http://www.englishspanishlink.com
http://www.spanishromance.com/spanish-language/
http://www.donquijote.org/lessons/

With the last one you will have to register, but don´t worry it remains free.

Good luck.

You know what? A year ago I knew zero spanish. It was an alien language to me.

Then Shakira released her album and I fell in love with her latest spanish album although I didnt understand a word she said. And I bought all her spanish albums and I listened to them over and over again. And since then I started listening to spanish

And now I can proudly say that I can communicate with a spanish person on the street without any trouble although I cant really write an essay entirely in spanish.

But that's how children do it. They dont know how to write but they can speak perfectly well. You should listen, then you'll understand the theories. And given that Spanish is very, very different from English, it's really hard if you learn it alone by yourself using books and dictionaries.

The best way is to enroll into an immersion course in an Spanish speaking country. It is expensive, but starting from where you are, you'll probably be relatively fluent by the end of the summer.
