I told a guy i liked him, and he said that he doesn't like me at all, but as a friend. I feel really bad, i want to die and hope that everything is o.k. All i hear are sad love songs, and feeling bad, crying (ofcourse). What can i do?

I am only 14, and had ONLY one boyfriend, who cheated on me and broke my heart, now what does tell you? Is there something wrong with me?

hmm i was in a similar situation over a year ago. I'd liked this gal for a while - it was over 14months. And me and this gal pretty much clicked from day 1 we met and graduallay over the period of our good friendship we became more closer, tell u the truth i fell in love with her within the first month or so, probably because i'd never had a crush on a gal b4 and the circumstances of us meeting.

Anyway fast4ward months and months l8r and i asked her out only for her to turn me down. That was over 16months ago i reckon and the first month wasn't easy because you will feel angry with the person and then yourself. I dealt with it quite well and my friends supported me. U shud just get on with your life and try and learn from your mistakes which thankfully i have done.

I didn't go exactly down the route of 'well if you dont like me that way then we can't just b normal friends' innitially but over time obviously we grew apart and i found it hard to look/talk to her if i ever saw her.

It wasn't easy with songs and other things that remind you of the person but you just gotta stay strong and look on the positives of the friendship that you had, because i wouldn't take that away because for the time i was close wiv this gal it was gr8 and i felt gr8 for it. But you've gotta stay strong and as i said earlier look back on things what happened and take it as a learning curve.

Iv felt that im come out a better person because of it and am now maturer than i was, the girl in question is also a better person and strangly enough after a patch of us not talking in ages we're talking again on good terms, although im not suggesting you still be friends with the boy you're on about.

Just stay strong thru the hard times and you'll c the light at the tunnel!

Perfect time of year to focus on something outside of yourself. You will get over this, but you just need a little distraction for a while until you lose interest or are interested in someone else. See if there's some kind of project you can get involved in to help out someone less fortunate for the holidays or something. Try to tell yourself at least the guy told you the truth and didn't try to use you first. So, he really must like you as a friend, and that's a pretty valuable thing in itself. Friendship is highly underrated. Treasure the friendship and focus elsewhere for the romantic notions.

Remember that your worth as a person goes way, way beyond what this guy thinks. Feel the way you feel and cope the way that works best for you. No matter who you are, you are too good to be heart broken over someone who doesn't want to be with you. If that is not the guy don't waste your life worrying about it. You don't want to be with the wrong guy when the right one comes along anyways. Just be glad he didn't waste your time.

First, do not allow yourself to even consider suicide.
2nd- Go out with some freinds...and talk to them about it. Get some advice from a real person.
3rd- keep your eyes open..you never know when mr. right will show up unannounced!

slap yourself really hard on both sides of your face, take a deep breath, and get a grip!!! you must be young to not realize there are so many guys out there looking for love you won't get around to all of them in 3 lifetimes. just take it one day at a time and eventually you'll grow up.
