I love my boyfriend. But all we ever do is go to the movies, or like go to the mall. Nothing big. We have been going out for 14 months and we just do little things. And thats fine but we do it a lot. I'm not asking to do big things all the time just every once in a while. It's going to the movies or bowling sometimes, and going shopping at the mall for himself!!! But if you could help me with this problem please do. I would really appreciate it! Also I have posted on my page if you would rather e-mail me you can. I just would like some help. Thanks a lot. Love ya.

It seems that everything you do together is what he wants or to benefit himself (shopping for himself). He sounds a little selfish. Maybe you could plan a "real date" , doing the things you enjoy, and hopefully he will take the hint.

Sometimes, if you want something done, you've gotta do it yourself. Try planning a day or an evening together doing something you wanna do. Got to a nice restaurant, take a picnic to a park, something that you'd enjoy. Once he sees that you enjoy doing things like that, he should smarten up and start making plans that involve more detail then movies or the mall. Talk to him and let him know how you feel.

By surprising him with two tickets to NYC and while you're there you guys can check out a Broadway play, go site seeing and anything else that you could do in NYC.

Search the newspaper, internet, etc..... of things (plays, museum exhibits) going on in your city and suggest them to him. Just tell him that you want to do something outside of the normal but you have to have something in your mind because he will say, "like what", so you have to be prepared.
