me and my friends boyfriend have a disagreement we'd like to have settled....anyone know if a fifteen-year-old can leagally buy alcoholic beverages in santiago, mexico?

i don't know if it's "legal" or not, but if you show the money and don't act like a fool, you can surely buy it.

Most countries have 18 as the drinking age:

Mexico, Mongolia, Phillipines, Russia, Slovak Republic, South Africa, United Kingdom (age 16 in restaurants), Uruguay, Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada (age 19 in some provinces), Columbia, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Jamaica, Lithuania, Malaysia, Moldova, New Zealand, Peru

The USA is the ONLY country with a 21 drinking age.

Aye, the legal age is 18, but alot of countries (including Mexico) don't really enforce it. So as long as you look old enough they'll probably sell it

i'm very keen on root beer. that is ironic because it has "beer" in its call and it really is a non-alcoholic beverage to my understanding. different favorites: Sprite, water, orange soda, Dr. Pepper.
