I guess you would have to define what a "New Agers" is.

If you are referring to someone who worships an Earth based religion then I would say no we are not the Devil's tool as we don't believe in the Devil. And no we are not out to destroy Christianity, we only want to be left alone so we can worship the way we want to. We don't want Christians bearing false witness to us or to bring back the Burning Times. We don't want you to force your views on us or try to labels us by your beliefs.

Blessed Be )O(

(And for the record, I do not smoke pot, I do not need mind altering drugs to enjoy life and the blessing within my life)

Dear the Chaos Within:

New Age Thought is Monotheistic, (NOT occult) and teaches Spiritual beliefs, rather than doctrine or dogma. What is missing from it, is the later- implemented Trinity thinking, or Christ-based religious thought that the Churches teach today.

By Trinity based, or Christ based, I mean that the Trinity , or Christ, are central in a Church's teachings and worship - rather than just God, alone. All Churches are based
on one or the other. Mainstream, that is.

New Age is hardly "New" Age ! It is based on Plato's teachings. He was the actual first "New Ager." The exploration of Spirit is what Socrates offered to the world. And, he was the teacher of Plato. New Age is Spiritual thought. It is mind-expanding in that it does not put limitations onto what you should think, as a main-stream Church may impose upon its members ; but instead, takes one straight to their Relationship with the Creator- and brings the spirit/soul of man, that lies behind man's Intellect, forward to the Center of Mind. Thinking then becomes Centered - integration of thought from the Intellect as well as Spirit. Some "New" Age books speak of the Christ Nature. . .(Self), which is the Nature of God, given to His Created - during His Creation of spirit-mind or soul. We have God's nature within our souls - NOT in our surface consciousness called Intellect. In human terms, you could say we have God's genes. A family matter! But only within the soul.

Today, "New" Age thought has incorporated self-help methods into its teachings (this is truly modern) in the belief that the more we understand ourselves and are able to overcome our "hang ups," the more fully our [ blockages] to soul (which lay before the door of the soul) can be removed - and Spirit come to be known.

Best regards, Lana

If so, you really have a poor opinion of the threat Satan poses.

That would be a pretty anemic conspiracy to destroy Christianity.

Seems the Christians are doing a much better job than anybody else at doing that, all by themselves. Intolerance, hate, vile threats, murder, insults and profanity, you name it. I've seen it all from some of them.
