You have to look at the entire passage and look at the context. The disciples asked when it would be that the KIngdom of Heaven would come - what would be the signs.

Jesus answered that the signs would be that
- many would come in his name saying "I am the Christ"
- there would be wars and rumors of wars
- great earthquakes, pestilences, famines
- fearful events and great signs from heaven
- believers persecuted and put into prison for their faith
- believers betrayed by family members and put to death
- Jerusalem surrounded by armies
- heavenly bodies will be shaken
- desolation of Jerusalem

These are referring to the things that will happen during the 7 year tribulation period (Daniel's 70th week). They have not yet happened. But once these things begin the generation living at that time will not pass away until all is complete.

Perhaps God did, but you don't understand what the Kingdom of Heaven is.

It is within you.
