Because Jesus is not God. He is God's son and he acknowledge that he was only the Son of God by saying, the Father is greater than i am. You can not take verses out of the bible and twist and turn them to suit your own belief, or the belief that some preacher preached about. Never not once did Jesus say I am God, worship me and pray only to me. Instead he done the exact opposite. The only way God and Jesus are one and the same is through unity, just as all of Jesus' disciples were one, just as a husband and wife become one, but we all know that they are very separate people.

In my opinion, Jesus is not God Himself, but simply one WITH God. He only has the knowledge that God wanted him to have, not all of it. The exact time of the end of the world would not be provided to Jesus, because it was not "need-to-know" information, and telling us would be the same thing as telling a person exactly when he or she was going to die.

because there is a set time when Jesus will conquer the devil and subdue all evil and then submit everything to the authority of God the Father, and this time has been set by the will of the Father, and in His humanity Jesus said He did not know this set time,as God though He knows.

1 Thessalonians 5:1,2: "Now as for the times and the seasons, brothers, you need nothing to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know quite well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night."

As we know, we would never know when to expect a thief to come rob us during the night. This also shows that God and Jesus are to different persons, and that only Jesus's father in the heavens only knows the date and time.

Hope this helps ;)

Possible outs for believers:
1. He knew the calendar was going to be changed and thus a real date wouldn't make make sense to his followers. E.g., "JC, what the hell is January?"
2. He (the son) was still in negotiations with the father & the holy ghost. They (it) hand't agreed on a firm date.
3. He'd left his PDA at home.

That's only for His Father to know.

"Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped. Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness; and found human in appearance, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross" (Phil 2:6-8).

Because only the Father knows.

Another example to all of us, how Jesus was a PART of God, not the whole God, mystery of the trinity.

Because it was not revealed to him at that time. He came down as a human being, not everything was known to him.
Here is a great site to study about the endtime. Cause we now know.

Jesus was 100% God and 100% man, in His divinity He knew everything, but in His humanness He had limitations.
