This is a issue of Absolutes.
For an Atheist to say there is no God is an absolute, would mean, that you have absolute knowledge. There is no one person that has that kind of knowledge. Click the link below to take the Atheist Test.
For a Christain to say there is a God, would mean that we see evidenace of the existing of a Creator. Look at the human body and how complex it is. Someone had to design it.
Charles Darwin said, "To suppose that the eye could have been formed by natural selection, seems I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree."
A true Christain beleiver will be live in Jesus as Lord and Savior and that God is the Creator of all things.

Christians believe in their religion. Atheists don't. Other than that they are all humans with the many differences that have nothing to do with faith.

We all have the same essence.Self conscientiousness, mentality and volition. So I do not think that their is any difference. Just a difference in the choices we make. Thank God we all have free will. Thank God for the Freedom in the USA. Peace out.

faith guides you. It is unreasonable to believe that if you don't have faith that you are damned, its only your choice. If there is a god he will judge you on what you do not what you contemplate, you have the right to be a non-believer. In summary then, they are both the same, its just the Christian believes he needs a certain level of guidance!!

When they face God on judgement day they dont face God on their own. They face God with the perfection of Christ that dwells in them. All other sinners will be cast down to hell. We are forgiven and loved, the unbelieving are hated, and will receive eternal infinitie punishment against a wrath filled God.
Not convinced you willl be fully convinced of it. People with like cirucmstance wish they had the opportunity you now have.
Another difference is Christians are not self-righteous, we know we have done evil in the site of God. And cry out for mercy. We turn away from our sins, and are never the same.

Fundamentally, the aren't different. The just believe in different things. That faith gives them a different perspective on life and shapes their actions. But, that's really the same for anyone.

In Psychology, there is concept called 'Loci of Control'. Basically, if you asked the question, "what controls your life", would the person place that control inside of themselves or outside of themselves. Religious people (Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc) tend to place that control outside of themselves, "God decides my fate". While, people who are not religious place that control inside themselves, "I am in control of my life". That is a large part of the difference.

Christians have fancier-sounding ways of insulting people who think differently. Some of them also believe that they have a duty to do so and call it 'love.'
