Ok here is the deal my older brother (57) is marrying a 23 year old bimbo. She found out that he might come into a good ammount of money whern our mother dies (he wont it goes into a trust fund) everyone in the family has been trying to warn him about her and it has gotten to the point where we have all told him that if he marries her he will be cut off from everyone else in the family (even his kids by his ex) he acts like he doesn't believe it will happen. I know for a fact that the trust had been changeed to where if he marries this girl he gets nothing. How do I convince him to act his age??

The more you push your brother to leave the bimbo the more you are going to push him to her. He will have to find out on his own. Maybe if your family tell said bimbo that she won't get one little penny she will leave.
Good luck,
And be there for your brother when she breaks his heart

I hope there wont'be no need to intervene, maybe your brother will come to his senses someday. Big mess it is, very big indeed...but I think that with threats you won't come by nothing. Family is too important, don't make the bimbo win cutting your brother from you! When you brother will realize that she's married him only on account of your mother's legacy, he will need his family more than he reckons now. That's what you should say to him: "I don't agree with your decision, and I'll never change my mind about the girl you're going to marry. But rembember that, WHATEVER HAPPENS, we'll be there to give you a hand." That's what a family should act, in my opinion. Your brother is old enough to solve his issues on his own; intervene only if you see that he's not able to do that.

Hope I haven't made too much mistakes (I'm italian).

Well it sounds as though your family already has done as they wish as far as the trust fund goes so I guess it's up to your brother if he still wants to marry the woman or not. Personally I feel it is up to your brother who he wants to marry and if he can't see thru her then why should the family take steps such as cutting him out of the trust fund. It would be up to him if he allows her to blow what he gets anyways and it shouldn't hurt the rest of the family right?

There are some Good Detectives! who will set-up this ?Girl, catch her in the act with another man, etc, etc. Then they bring your brother to the place where the act is being committed and he sees for himself. I don't know how much it costs, but it might be worth it. I saw this on the Maury Povich show, and Montel's . I just don't know how you find them. Go to the web sites of these shows, or look in your phone book. Hope I helped you out, but bottom line, all of you will be richer! if he marries this girl.

I think by now, he knows where you all stand. So don't try and convince him any more. As the saying goes, love is blind. At this point he is not going to listen to you or anyone else. he is thinking with the wrong head! Once you have expressed yourself to him, that is all you can do. so just keep the lines of communications open between the two of you, because one day he is going to need you. so keep him in your prayers!

he is grown man.what do u care more?about ur brother or the legacy?there are laws.make them in this way so when ur mom dies ur brother wont get a thing or just very few-in this way ur brother gets nothing so does her.tell them about this-ur brother and his future bimbo:))
see how she reacts.see if she will still marry him.
but then is the other thing.are u sure its money she wants?are u really sure she doesnt love him?maybe u are all making a mistake.
