I know I want some wine glasses and extra but their are soo many choice!! We do have a bar and we like to drink and have guest/parties so I would like to registry for some nice bar glasses. I am just not sure what I need. I want some speicality glasses like Maritini and Margarita glasses but these are the choice for these unbreakable lenox glasses I really like-
Red Wine, Set of 4
White Wine, Set of 4
Balloon, Set of 4
Double Old Fashion Glass, Set of 4
Cocktail Glass, Set of 4
Flute, Set of 4
Do you need Cocktail and double old Fashion?
Is balloon a generic glass to replace white and red wine glasses??
Any suggestion would be great!!

A balloon is not a replacement for a wine glass, either white or red. A balloon is for brandy. It's also called a snifter.
Most people don't know the difference between a red wine glass and a white wine glass, so you're pretty safe using the same for both.
Definitely get martini glasses and margarita glasses, Pilsners for beer, hi-ball, old fashioned, and flutes. Most places sell these in sets of 8, unless you're going high-end. Anchor Hocking sells nice sets of the Highball, Double Old-fashioned, and Tom Collins glasses for reasonable prices.

Unless you plan on mixing fancy drinks with bourbon, scotch, whiskey, etc., then don't bother with many of those glasses.
For wine, just get regular goblets. Unless you are a wine effectionado, no one cares what kind of wine glass they are using. With the goblets, you can use white, red, or blush wine, as well as water.
EDIT: Yes, I do believe that a balloon glass replaces the white and red wine glasses.
Get some shot glasses and some 8 oz tumblers, and maybe some champagne flutes if you think you'll use them.

Get whatever glasses you want. And like the other poster sai get martini glasses, they have some really cool looking ones.
My registry had martini glasses, shot glasses, tumbler, and wine glasses.....most folks arent gonna know the difference between a red wine and white wine glass

Basically, what you need is red, white, flutes, margarita, martini and pilsners. That should take care of you for now.

Get some martini glasses! Even if you don't use them they look cool.
I would also say get at least 8 tumblers you'll use them more than anything else.
