an ectopic pregnancy is when the egg has implanted and fertillized either outside the womb or within the falliopian tube, i hate to\scare you but if not treated they can be serious....and they will abort it if it is an ectopic as they can kill

Your info is quite vague...ectopics are when the baby develops outside of the womb, this is highly dangerous for the mother and can be fatal, in all cases of ectopic they have the potential to be fatal so if you think she may be experiencing an ectopic bypass your doc and go straight to A&E. I personally have had 3 ectopics and they are not nice to go through, I'm not trying to scare you but you need to be aware of how dangerous an ectopic can be. Please get medical advice ASAP. Good luck to you both.

Just a quick point to add, most of the time you can't see an ectopic on the scan, the times doctors suspect an ectopic is when they can't see anything in the womb with a positive prenancy test.

I think its natural to be concerned, due to the things that she has gone through recently, however if she is pregnant then worrying will do no good for the baby.

The absolute best thing to do would be to consult a doctor who can arrange a scan. They will totally understand the anxiety, and I'm sure due to what she has been through they will be fully behind a scan - if they aren't, demand a second opinion. Nothing can be risked when there is not only a babies life, but the lives of all those around it that are affected :)

Very best of luck - I hope that your little miracle is indeed that, and that he or she brings you and your family plenty of joy xxx

Eptopic pregnancy is when the baby is growing outside of the womb, unfortunately this will have to be terminated. get to a doctor asap to have this ruled out although as she has already had an internal scan for ovarian ulcer they would have seen an eptopic im sure.

best bet is to go to the docs to get everything ruled out.

good luck, hope it all goes well

Ectopic pregnancy is dangerous like the other people have said, but if she's in pain get on the phone to the maternity hospital straight away and they will get her examined.

Just go to the doctor and find out! If she is pregnant she will need to start her prenatel care, and if it is an ectopic pregnancy then it will need to be taken care of imediatly so it does not harm her. Just take her to the doctor.

You didn't say how far gone she is or the degree of pain she is in, but I just wanted to tell you that I did 5 tests as I was in such denial and before I did the first test I was convinced something was up as I had bad stomach pains...I never did find out what caused them as my baby was fine....I'm sure your baby will be ok too.

Any pain after a positive pregnancy test needs to be looked at unless it is mild cramping.
Take her to the hospital just to be sure that it is not anything serious :)
Good luck!

It could very well be an etopic pregnancy as what you have described sounds to me like that and yes you should be scared as there are huge risks she needs to go straight to hospital immediately other wise it is dangerous for her DO IT NOW.
