In the recent past computer batteries manufactured by some famous companies, Sony and Panasonic, were withdrawn from the market / Why ?

Because they'd get too hot and explode/catch fire.

But it was laptop batteries, not camcorders, so if you're in the right category, you have nothing to worry about.

They had a problem: Some batteries exploded.

Because this companies want to earn always much money and for this they neglect the reliability.
