We all have dogs but the other neighbors use the yard and do not pick up the poo. I am the only one in the building with a child who may play in the yard from time to time. We take our dog in the alley in the back and side of the building.

Leave a box of plastic baggies outside their door with a post-it note that says "Please use for pooch, Thanks" If they don't comply call the city and file a complaint. That is probably a violation of a local ordinance. If that doesn't work hit them with a shovel.

The best way? Nicely. Your observation about your child is valid. Children can be blinded by dog excrement. There were several cases in the UK a few years back.
Before you broach the subject, ask yourself if your neighbours might come back at you about where you take your dog and be ready to compromise.

Explain it to them nicely, just as you have done here. If they do not have kids, it may never have entered their mind.
If they do not take the dog somewhere else to do his/her business after you ask nicely, then talk to your property manager. In some places, it is against the law to leave your dog's poo laying around.

Ask your building manager to put a sign up asking for dog pooping to be done in the back, or for dog poops to be picked up. That way it seems that it's from them and not you.

Here u have really explained ur problem nicely.
go to them tell them what are ur problems r, donot be rude mayb they don't do it intentionally .
Talk to others in ur building and with people who r facing the same problem go to them .....
Well I'm sure things would be sorted out say hi to ur son or daughter from me bcause I love kids .

I would not personally confront them but maybe speak to the management office for help with the problem, unless you feel comfortable doing so. Then I would explain that your child plays there and it would be appreciated if they could walk their dog where you walk yours.
