Morality is virtuous behavior and thought. But what is virtuous? So morality is subjective. You might get some interesting answers. Maybe...

Not hurting others is moral to my way of thinking. Actually helping them is nice too. That includes the Earth.

Morality to me is living in relation to others as I would wish them to live toward me, with respect to the fact that we have differences in our desires so I try to live in a way that is not going to negatively impact the world and others. It is also accepting the consequences of my actions when I make a mistake by owning up and learning from it so that I improve in the future.

An example of morality for me is being honest in relationships. It is fine with me and not moral or immoral if others are not interested in commitments but they should be honest about expectations and responsible with regards to health and contraception. Also, to always respect the trust others place in you. I am married now but I still meet guys who are interested in me but I would never cheat because of the pain it would cause my husband and that I would not want him to ever betray my own trust. This is an extreme example but it also applies if you think about it to less intense relationships and situations.

An example of immorality to me is deceiving another or denying them freedom to make their own life choices or robbing them by force or dishonesty. It is also abusing the planet or others with disregard for purely selfish reasons. For instance, some corporations like Exxon that exploit the environment or workers for profit while polluting the planet and pushing some people into poverty. Or tobacco companies that continued to deny the health effects even after they knew in order to keep profits up.

I am not religious. I think morality can exist independently of religion and people only think it can not because the two have been so intertwined.

Morality is a set of rules a person places on themselves in order to be able to live with themselves. Morality can be influenced by your parents, teachers, church, or experience. What you can live with and what I can live with may be two totally separate things yet it is our personal morals which set the standard for how we feel about it the next day.

Me, as long as you do not intentionally try to harm someone, have at it.

In terms of moral principles, treat others as you would want them to treat you.

We're a lot more aware of moral constants when we think of it in terms of how we want to be treated or seen. It tends to become less clear when we apply our moral compass to others.

Of course the high water mark is to treat others morally, even if they don't treat us morally. Few people do that, but the one's who do are devoted to something greater than themselves.

It's having an awareness of what is right and wrong and an unwillingness to hurt others. It doesn't come from God or religion but from the society in which you live and your upbringing.
