metro train is not a safe place to use as playground, what happen if the train made a emergency brake or the carriage break off? it happen before, who responsible for the children safety? the parent or the train operator?

Yes they should get a fine... Maybe teach them to watch their children.

for ur info..do u know that..in Korea.the mrt.is way better,and more sophisticated then the Singapore SMRT? been north Korea.a much bigger city then Singapore?and..did u know that..in Korea the metro trains in there.have neon lights.like those in disco.also BARS probably for kids to swing in it?yet noone really apply unreasonable rules..hell why would they fine.for such petty issue and reasons..lets the kids be KIDS!!

cant understand why singaproeans want to bring the govt in the middle, to put a fine for everything that can be talked and taught by word of mouth or through media.

Well yes; it's Singapore. Have you been? You can't chew gum, park here, be in this place too long, etc.
Singapore is a "fine" country.

If they weren't bothering anybody or being really disruptive then there is no reason but if they are running around and making people feel uncomfortable then yes.

Yeah, fine them. Kids can be very disturbing most of the time.
