DON'T DRIVE YOUR CAR. If you need to take it to be serviced, have it towed. Check your master cylinder, brake line an/or brake fluid. As for the stall, you may have bad gas or need a DESPERATE TUNE-up or vacuum leak or a defective power brake booster.

If the brakes go to the floor but you can pump them up and they re-pressurize for that time, then your master cylinder is probably bad. If they can't be re-pressurized when you pump them, more than likey you have a leak in a line or you just have air in them. Either way, get it serviced...recommend having it towed.

do not worry about the stalling until the brakes are fixed first! checked the rear brake lines...they tend to corrode through (located above the fuel tank), not a small job.

Sounds like air in the system or a bad Master cylinder. Bleed you brakes and the see how it goes.

That's pretty serious stuff. You will want that checked out immediately. You don't want to spend Christmas in Jail for hitting and killing someone. Brakes are not to be ignored.
