they have a fast metabolism. or they're really active and burn all their fat off because they're always on the move.
i saw this new study on the news that your genes could have the secret on how much fat is on you.

Maybe they do put on weight (few pounds here or there) but they're active and they burn it off. Or it doesn't show. My husband eats two or three times the amount I do, and he still has a six-pack and never gains weight! I hate that! But he works out like crazy so it balances it out. Being active makes for a faster metabolism too.

Genetics plays a HUGE role (70%) in body metabolism... their resting calorie burn is higher than normal's. Normal's is 1-2 calories burned at rest, their's might be like 4-5.
