I am 24 and met a woman at work about a year ago who was 35, bipolar divorced with 3 kids. I liked her a lot and thought she was a very interesting woman, we went out and had lunches together and she told me all about this guy she was seeing who was slightly older and it was all secret because he was living with his girlfriend and had been for 3 years. I thought this odd but never the less none of my business.

As the relationship progressed I got used to her odd behaviour and found it quite quirky, I also met the kids. Until something happened recently, she started sleeping with random men she had met at nightclubs and having unprotected sex, also her ex husband came back to live with her for a short while. I guess my morals were called into question and I couldn't believe how this woman could be so carefree and I didn't agree with it. Since then we have lost contact but i miss her tons, wondering if her ibipolar illness affected me slightly or whether i'm ill? opinions please

Oh yes. You definately caught the bug.
Don't be silly. Forget abut it, go on with your life. If you have the wherewithall to ask the question, you are fine.

The problem is that you have a friend but you want her to live by your values. Your values and hers are different, get over it and call her. You have no right to tell her how to live and if you really want to be her friend you'll stop judging her for her actions. How she lives is really her business until it impacts your life. Since you are not in a romantic relationship with her and she has not made any commitments to you her actions are not harming you. Be her friend instead of her judge.

Dude, let it go. Bi-polar women are an easy lay. The problem is that once you show them a little affection, they will never leave.

Are you kidding me? Move on. Try to stay away from people who need to be fixed. You can't fix them.
