The concept of God came about because, for primitive people, there was no other way to explain how and why everything existed apart from the existence of some mythological mighty over-beings.
Myths and legends surrounding gods were shaped by a patriarchal society that used fear of God or gods to keep people in check - and to keep women "in their place".
We no longer need God - and it's time everyone grew up and admitted that the Bible, the Koran and all the rest of it is just a load of superstition that only serves to keep people arguing about who's got the best religion.

Our cells in our body are living ,are able to reproduce and can be clone to form a whole new individual and what happens when all the different cells in your body work in an orderly manner.This gives rise to a Mind or consciousness the YOU...
Well yeah,actually all these cells combines to make our mind.We use our mind to feed etc to help the cells survive.Likewise everything in the universe are parts when combine together give one whole thinking mind...GOD...
And religions are like the binding force that 'prevent your body celly from falling apart by binding them together" lol ^_^

yes there is. no one has ever seen the wind, but everyone has seen the effects of the wind, therefore the wind exists. GOD is like the wind as all one has to do is look at the Heavens and Earth to see the Handiwork of GOD. yet GOD, like the wind remains invisible to the mortal's 5 senses.

there is a hindu idea that says both is true: there is a god and there isn't - because the opposite is always also true.
