If they were predestined to do that by God they may already be qualified.
If it's by free will, asking for forgiveness alone is generally not sufficient. You have to repent and undo as much of the damage as you can through actions and deeds.
The Bible says by simply aligning yourself or following the wrong Prophet you lose your place in heaven.
That's how simple things are. You take the wrong side and you lose.
According to the Bible once you have the mark of the beast your place is lost and there is no direct indication that you can remove this mark through subsequent actions and deeds. That is not to say it is impossible, it is just there is no positive statement in Revelations, the last and final chapter, that gets you a get out of jail free card.
This requires your free will in doing so. Some do not have free will in some matters. Then God, one would hope, would have another option for them.

As there are no Christian serial child-molesters, it is a pointless question. Anyone who continues to practice any sin (not just molesting) is not a Christian. (If you had left out the word Christian and just asked if a serial child-molester can be forgiven, then you would have an answerable question.)

Where does it say in the Bible that ANYBODY will go to Heaven by asking for forgiveness?
Salvation is a relationship with God. God asks that we believe in Him and repent.
Repentance is a change of heart, resulting in a change of action. But if we wait too long it will not happen. Even if we ask for repentance with tears. You see, only God can change our hearts. We can't fool him by waiting until the last minute to ask for forgiveness.

I agree with Kaye, there is no answer to a question like this accept from God alone, there have been men on death row, who have asked the Lord into their lives, but only God knows their fate. for anyone else to guess at a question like this is but only a guess.

You've kind of got it backwards. The Bible says that people who don't believe with all their heart that Jesus Christ died for their sins aren't going to Heaven no matter how good they have been on earth. Because Adam and Eve ate the apple in the Garden of Eden we're all sinners in God's eyes. However, Jesus came to earth and died on the Cross for our sins. Jesus erases the sins of those who believe in Him.
Are you ready?

Anyone who sins-regardless of what sin-can get into heaven if they've TRULY repented. All sin is the same in God's eyes-it's man who add severity to the crime-not that I'm objecting.

That is not something anyone here or anywhere, for that matter, can answer. Forgiveness is based on ones personal relationship with the Lord.

Will people who make fun of Christians? Will murders? Will prostitutes? Will thieves? Will scam artists?
These are the people Jesus hung out with the most.
Why do you think that is?
