The rapture is just a word used to describe the saving of God's Church. All believers will be taken from the earth "in a twinkling of an eye". Non-believers will be left to deal with terrible judgments sent down by God. Many people will die, many with still continue to curse God and follow the Antichrist who is in charge of the earth for a while. Then Jesus will come and get rid of Satan and his followers. Read The Revelation to understand. Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and repent of your sins now. The End Times will come but we don't know exactly when. You have to be ready as if it could happen tomorrow...because it could!!

The "Rapture" is nothing more than warm fuzzies. It was something to make christians feel better about not having to through the tribulation. The 2nd coming of the Messiah is true. It will happen regardless of our belief in it. The true believers will be caught up to meet Messiah in the air and then we will rule over the Earth for 1000 years with Yahshua. There is a big difference in the time table of events between the Rapture and the Second Coming. Many believe that the rapture is at the start of the tribulation, that is incorrect. The "catching up" will be when the Messiah returns at the sound of the Great Trump (Yom Turuah).

The rapture could happen any minute, when it does, first all those who are dead that believed in Christ will be resurected and joined Christ in the air, second all those alive will be changed and join Jesus in the air (all with glorified bodies). This will happen in a split second and will be a world wide occurence, we will all disaprear and only our clothes, jewelry, etc. will be left behind. Bodies will disapear from funeral homes, planes will crash because pilots are gone, millions, maybe billions will be gone.

After the rapture a new world leader will come on the seen and make a flase peace with Israel and the middle east, and this leader will rule the world for 3-1/2 years of so called peace, then will come plagues and destruction, and persicution as never seen before, God will continue to protect Israel but millions will be killed by this leader and you will be forced to make a choice between God and satan.

After 7 years from the time of the rapture Jesus will come back for the second coming which is when he steps foot back on earth. At this time Jesus will return in Power and Glory and defeat this ruler and all his armies and followers. Those left on earth will be believers in God through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

I don't try to force anyone to believe in Christ, you have free will to decide, I will pray that you decide before the rapture, if not I will pray you are strong enough to survive the tribulation or die for Christ.

Please don't choose to reject Christ.

Your choice.

Their almost one in the same:

The rapture refers to the part of the Bible that says we (christians) will be caugt in the air and taken away, before or right as the tribulation(a time of great suffering and pain on the planet) starts.

Jesus second comming is exactly that; Jesus coming back in magnificent glory and power

Again, the two events are almost one in the same becuase the both lead and indicate the end of the world and universe, and the perverse wickedness that will be going on.

The rapture happens before the second coming. In the rapture Jesus doesn't touch down.We are caught up to meet Him in the clouds(1 Thessalonians).7 years later He comes down and opens a can of "Whoop @ss" on the Anti-Christ and his minions. That's the 2nd coming(Rev. 19 and on)

The rapture - from what I've heard, involves the destruction of the earth and everything in it with fire while God "takes" the good people to heaven. Jesus' second coming just involves the destruction of the wicked ones and him taking over as ruler of this world. Satan and his demons would be gone, locked up so to speak. As others have said, the word Rapture doesn't appear in the bible. Also it doesn't make sense for God to want to completely destroy the earth - animals, vegetation and all - when he originally created it with a purpose, which was for the living enjoyment of human beings.

Absolutely, the rapture is not Biblical at all. Jesus has returned as king of God's Kingdom and soon every eye will see evidence of this fact beginning with the governments of the world closing all of the false religions.

the Rapture- the experience, anticipated by Christians, of meeting Christ midway in the air upon his return to earth.

Second Coming- the coming of Christ on Judgment Day.

Christ is coming back and that is the second coming the rapture is when we will be taken up with Him.

For His Fame,

Nothing. The rapture will either come before, or directly after (depending on your interpretation) the Second Coming.

The rapture is believed to be when God will "take away" all his believers into heaven, living and dead.

The Second Coming is when he will return to fight with his armies.

They are related, but technicall seperate acts.
