I had soreness around my neck about a week ago for a few days. It went away. Now, my glands under my chin are extremely sore (waking me up at night) and I think swollen as well. It has been a few days. I don't feel sick otherwise. What could this be?

If glands are swollen it is glandular fever (you definitely need to get treatment. It is a serious condition). I suffered from it my self -the Dr said I should be feeling unwell but I didn't either. The cause of glandular fever (infectious mononucleosis) is a virus known as Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) - most frequently seen in teenagers and young adults, thought to spread from saliva, and is sometimes jokingly referred to as the "kissing disease", as it is often passed from boyfriend to girlfriend or vice versa.
Fever and pain is treated with pain killers (analgesics) such as paracetamol or non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs - ibuprofen or aspirin (16+ only) . You will probably need more rest and sleep than usual for a prolonged period. You need to drink plenty of fluids, even if you are off your food.
If there is any evidence of hepatitis you should avoid alcohol until the liver is completely recovered, which might be many months.
It is wise not to rush back to full activity too soon, and to build up slowly.
Please see the Dr straight away.

If you were sick a week or so ago this can be an after effect of being sick. Could be your lymph nodes absorbing the germ etc..from what was left over or it could be that you are going to get sick with a cold or flu. Try some motrin, plenty of fluids and good diet.

It is most likely your body trying to fight off an infection of some sort. Usually nothing to worry about. Take Tylenol it may help the swelling and pain. If it continues for a couple of weeks or the swelling gets much larger definitely see your doctor.
