For example mine is, I caught a pretty nice-sized bass once when I was a kid, with no bait or lure, just a hook and sinker, killing time, practicing casting off the end of our dock. What's yours?

While stationed at Ft. Wainwright in Alaska, me and a buddy went fishing south of Nenanna. When we ran out of Trout power bait we started using the insides of the banana nut muffins we had left over, my wife had made for breakfast. We limited out on 20 - 24 inch Rainbow trout in about an hour (10 each). That was the best day of fishing I had in a long time.

When I was a kid, my dad and brother and I had been fishing with not much luck at a lake. Then, my dad went out on a boat and was gone all morning. My brother and I were hanging around the dock when a boat came in and a guy said, "hey you kids, you want these fish?" He gave us about 9 trout and then left. My dad came back and we said "look at all these fish we caught while you were gone!" He asked how we caught them and we told him we used popcorn and peanut butter for bait right off the dock. It started raining and my dad spent about 20 minutes trying to catch fish using our method and after we all sat in the cabin laughing that he actually fell for it we decided to tell him the truth about what happened.

I was fishing in Oyster Bay, Long Island, when I got bored because I wasn't catching any fish. Since the water was shallow, I walked out about 50 yards to my waist. In frustration, I threw the rig close to the beach instead of out into the bay. Lo and behold, I caught a keeper size tommycod fish.

When I was in the service in Alaska, some buddy's and I decided to go salmon fishing since the salmon where spawning. We hiked with our gear for about 3 hours and when we started setting up we realized that we forgot our bait. We had a red bandanna and made miniature flies. because there were so many salmon (you could walk on their backs across a stream) we each caught our limit. Got pictures somewhere to prove it.

Floatin along the missouri in a canoo on a week long trip. The last day a huge trash-fish jumped out of the water and into the boat. The two guys in that boat were sleepin, till it jumped in. then they were at the ends of the boat beating it with paddles.....the funniest thing i ever saw. Scared them to death! We all ate that fish that night.

Those guys that jump in the river and wrestle giant catfish. That is strange. They just snatch the fish out of the water with their hands.

My daughter caught a fish with a piece of string and a bit of bread crust.

My friend used a remote-controlled boat to catch a nice-sized trout!!! He attached line, hook, a splitshot, and a nightcrawler together, and tied the other line on the toy boat. The boat acts like a bobber, when the boat was twitched, we just used to remote control to steer the boat back to dock!
