Cardio will initial boost your metabolism and give you the feeling of more energy. Take a spinning class or kickboxing... something that keeps you moving for over 30 minutes!

Later, add weights. Weights will refine muscle tone and again, boost your metabolism a little more.

If you are just starting out, don't do both, it can wear you out quickly. But atleast participate in an aerobic activity 3 times a week if possible. Build from there.

And it is better to work out in the morning if you can. This gives you a burst of energy to start your day, and you end up burning more calories throughout the day.

Oh, and make sure you eat breakfast. It's a very common mistake. Never skip it!

Good luck =)

Exercise, cardiac 30-45 minutes each day 5 times a week. You might want to get evaluated for sleep apnea.
