talk to God
He will help you but only if you wish Him to help

If you're finding that your questions are not being answered, it that maybe the person answering isn't qualified to answer you.

Matthew 15:14
LET them be. Blind guides is what they are. If, then, a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

One point is that there is no hell of torment, it's just that some religions like to scare people in to believing. The word 'hell' is translated from the words 'Sheohl' (Hebrew) & 'Hades' (Greek), which simply mean the common grave of mankind awaiting the resurrection

2 Timothy 2:18
These very [men] have deviated from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already occurred; and they are subverting the faith of some.

It also comes from the word 'Gehenna' (Greek), which was a garbage dump outside the city kept buning with sulphur and brimstone. It was used to illustrate everlasting destruction, which means to not exist for ever. This can be scene in revelation's by 'death' being thrown in, and means that people will live for ever in the future after armageddon. Some people won't though, but it's just that they won't get to know the wonders that God has for us.

Revelation 20:14-15
And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire. Furthermore, whoever was not found written in the book of life was hurled into the lake of fire.

There's something that's drawing you to seek answers. That something is the Holy Spirit acting under the power of G-d. That power created Jesus in the womb of Mary. It was the same power that created the world in six days. In reaching out to you He acted in love both when Christ went to death on the cross and when He created you in the first place (Psalm 139), and is the same love which flows through me to answer you.

I understand the skepticism. I understand that things may not seem to add up. Trust me, they do. The bible even says that there are things which are foolishness where man is concerned but is wisdom where G-d is concerned. Take a look at the book of Proverbs in the Old Testament. Compare the wisdom which G-d imparted in that book and see how relevant that scripture is in your everyday life.

Realize too, that not all Christians are alike. There are some who have not experienced the full depth of G-d's love and understanding, nor have they fully comprehended Him or His nature. There are some who appear to be pious, yet they truly are not. Read the Gospel of John. Pray. Go to a place where you won't be disturbed and consider G-d and His handiwork's. He will reach out to you as you reach out to Him. Believe me, it's worth it.

Go find a pastor. Not just any pastor. One that has a Masters or a Doctorite in Divinity or Theology. You know they have studied the Bible and know their stuff. Present to them your problems with the Bible and Christianity. A lot of things didn't add up for me at first, but I talked to some Pastors and now I have a different perspective. No, they didn't try to force me to believe or anything. Most of the time our confussion over Christianity is a misunderstanding due to what the world tells us and the fact that the Bible was written over a span of many centuries and many cultures. Don't let people convince you that being a good person will get you into Heaven. No one is good except for God. You need to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior to get into Heaven. I will be praying for you. If someone has never heard of Jesus then it is up to God what happens to them, but those who have heard will be subject to the before mentioned rule of getting into heaven. I told you that becuase God told me to. God bless

Well if your not a Christian you are definitely on the right path to becoming one. The Christian faith is based upon going to heaven or hell because of what you do in this life. I'm a Christian not practicing but as far as I've been told God forgives all as long as you are truly sorry for what you have done. Hell is temporary I guess just a way of repentance. Don't worry about religion worry about your decision and don't base it on whether your going to heaven or hell. Base it on whether you can LIVE with it or not. You wont care once your dead.

You do understand, which is good.

What you really have to understand are the ways of Jesus, what he did, what he said and how he acted. I use common threads from at least two books that say the same thing.

I focus myself on Jesus and on the 10 commandements from God. God is the law, Jesus is the way we apply it.

Then there is also Revelations, which is difficult to understand in places, but some of it is plain and simple. Especially the part of the Book of Life and that your names has to be in that book.

Aligning yourself with the Anti-Christ or Satan or the Devil or those who preach the evil (not good) ways that are contrary to Jesus is the way you don't end up in that Book, even if you are Jewish or a pious Born again Christian.

Baptism by water can also be helpful and there is no reason not to be Baptised again and again. It is said by some you have to be re-born and re-born again in some instances. This comes with increased understanding of Jesus.

Finally don't expect. Jesus is not about rewards. Are you in it for rewards! The reward is living a good life and Jesus is the best role model there is.

What have you got to lose by accepting a gift? If I had a gift wrapped with a bow and wanted to give it to you, would you accept it? We are born physically alive but spiritually dead. Christ solved the "sin" problem so that we may have a relationship with him. All he wants is to bless you. What I have learned by not having a father, (He was killed when I was 5 and I loved him dearly) is that God in Heaven is my Father. My mother did not have any answers for me.She was a believer in Christ with no Bible Doctrine. When I was seven my baby brother was born dead the night that ma was supposed to give birth. I hated God. I hated him with the intensity of a child. Which actually is quite a powerful hatred. My mother was abused. I remember guns to her head. I remember the tv being hurled through our living room window. The point is as I grew up I realized that God would not leave me here with these idiot people, without answers. I started searching and it took 20 years and a lot of religions. It is really a very peaceful happy life. I claim the promises of God. Since I was a victim of domestic violence I chose that life when I got older as that is all I knew. I did not understand why as I hated that life but it was my normal. My normal was to be worried, anxious, upset and afraid. I call it a "f'd up normal". F.U.N.-is the acronym.Though it is anything but fun. Through the doctrine resident in my soul I am happy and peaceful now. He has a plan and a purpose for your life. It is so easy. You obviously are searching for the truth . You will find it. A lot of things in Christianity do not add up as Satan wants you to be blinded to the truth. The bible says if we name our sins he is just and righteous to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Religion says if we "ASK" for forgiveness and "feel" sorry for our sins he will. That is adding works to salvation and it is all about Grace, not works. If you search for the truth you will find it. There is great peace, love, hope and forgiveness in the word of God. THe word just needs to be"rightly divided". The original languages of the Bible are very precise. The Bible must be interpreted in the time in which it was written. I was going through memorabilia and found a mothers day card that I had made for my beloved mama. It said"I hope that your day is happy and gay". In 1968 that meant happy. Now it means something else. I know that you will find your answer. Peace out.

The only people that will be saved are the people that will have the chance to live with God in heaven! Everyone else who does not believe in God will perish and not receive the eternal life that God has for His people. Now, if I were you, I would start believing in God and put your trust in Him. Get a Bible, start reading it and understand and learn who this God is and why He is so great! If you see all the evil going on in this world (such as wars, etc) and all the natural disasters (such as hurricanes, etc) you will see in the book of Matthew that all these things were predicted to come during the last times when Jesus will be returning to judge the world! All of this is written in the Bible! Even the 666 (devil's number) is explained in the book of Revelation! Please, turn to God and He will direct your paths! He says "I am the way, the truth, and the life! Whoever believes in me shall not perish, but have eternal life!"

-God bless!
Peace Maker!

Think about it this way: If you look at the situation logically and honestly, as it sounds like you're doing right now, and you determine that you just can't accept the faith for whatever reason -- it doesn't make sense, it's inconsistent, it's hard to understand, whatever -- then how could God possibly punish you for that? He gave you your sense of logic and reason and ability to question, didn't he? If the faith doesn't agree with your common sense, you could argue that it's God's fault for not making it easier to accept, because really, what more can you do? The only other alternative is to just force yourself to accept everything, but that's not a very good one in my opinion.

There is no way to prove what the "right choice" is. How do you know that the Christians are right in what they believe? You don't. There are dozens of different religions, and they could all be wrong! Seriously - if they are all wrong, then death is just the end, and that's it. Who's to know for sure? I really wouldn't obsess over it.

no its about the word of God and what he says he will do. God has made it clear what kind of respect he wants Jesus said Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. I will take the words of Jesus over the teachings and belief of men. God did teach there was a hell it is not made up or mistranslated. Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. God makes it clear they come back to life or awake form the grave and face everlasting contempt. Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. God describes hell here in verse 24 Their fire is not quenched and their worm does not die. This is not the grave but a fiery hell.
