You can try it...but I would recommend that you defrost first.
Frozen fish will have some liquid that will thaw during the cooking process and will leave your final product very watery.
With trout I would defrost...season heavily with salt/pepper and pan saute with butter and/or EV olive oil (or a combination)...you can also lightly coat with bread crumbs, corn meal and or some Japanese bread crumbs (panko) and put a very light crunch on the trout..serve with some lemon wedges and/or lemon zest infused compound butter...GOOD STUFF!!!

Don't cook your trout from frozen for one simple reason you will get cold spots inside your trout. Cold spots will carry harmful bacteria which means the fish is not thoughly cooked. A good way of defrosting your trout would be to put the trout in some cold water never hot water because then your cooking the trout. And either keep the container covered out at room temperature or inside your refrig. on the bottom shelf. Hope this helps you.

it depends on how you're going to cook it. If you are having it as a stew, you can add your fish directly into a pot of sauce and simply let it cook on a low heat with a lid on. I'm assuming the fish is already gutted and scaled, otherwise it should not have been in the freezer.

yes, so long as the very centre is 73 degrees centigrade or higher when you serve it. I should know as i work in a hotel where we served it every wednesday, gutted first of course!! Cook it with dill butter (melted butter with chopped dill is a suitable alternative to shop bought stuff)

In the event it's a fruit it includes seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.
