Tomato soup is warm and filling and makes me "contented" but not "tired"...could also be the fact that some people get tired after lunch (leftover psychology from childhood naps) or that the fact you are very pregnant and carrying that kinid of a load can exhaust you out? :) (Congrats, btw)

Myth. Most people get "tired" after they eat any meal. It is just more noticable at lunch time because you are still trying to do things with your day. Basically your body is routing energy and blood to your stomach to process the food you just ate instead of your other organs. That is why people feel sluggish or tired after eating. In some circumstances, like with turkey, there is a chemical that will cause you to get tired.

myth- if it bothers you that much change what you eat for lunch - and see if it has any different effects! Or change to a lower sodium count soup!
