Hello, I'm generally quite good about doing a little exercise every day but no matter how much I try to exercise or diet, the flab in my bum/hips and upper thighs just doesn't want to budge... any exercise ideas?

You sounded exactly like me from a few months ago. Take the suggestion above - cycling!! I started on spinning, then bought my own road bike and haven't look back since. I FINALLY have jeans that fit me in those troubled areas! The key is to be consistent. 3 times a week is a great start. I never had to hit the weights hard or anything like that. Good luck =)

Always have vegetables on give. Saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in extra virgin olive oil and garlic. Add some red pepper as well as turmeric for additional flavor in addition to separate into portion-sized containers to the fridge.

Distracted dining are certain to get you in trouble. Avoid eating before a television or in a cinema, as you're bound to use up more calories.

Are your dishes too large? A healthy dinner should fit on a 9-inch plate. You may see that kid-sized plates are more appropriately sized to feed a grownup!

Yes, you have to hit the hard weights.... you really need to work the muscles in order to firm up your butt and thighs.... use the butt and thigh machines at the gym and do a really good work out twice a week....
Garunteed in at least two weeks you will feel the difference......
The best way to test is to jump up and down before you do it and in two weeks do the same thing you'll feel firmer and much stronger.
Good Luck

People who regularly weigh themselves and keep track of their progress in a journal will probably lose weight.
