each and every cat has their personal unique personality. some are extra aloof than others. each and every comes to a decision even as they pick to be petted, fed, or also be sociable with different cats! You dont' make a cat do something yet placed it in a service to get that's photos on the vet. If the cat isn't chuffed it is going to come across a thanks to vanish and locate somebody else to look after it. Your no longer coping with a canines which may be 'educated'.

Cats are just weird creatures. I have an male tom cat (no clue how old he is he was kinda tossed on us and i couldn't say no but the vet was guessing he is 11-15) anyway he is the orneriest creature I have ever met. one min he is sweet as pie and the next he is stalking you like you are a deer and he is a lion. but he is very possessive of my 2 year old if he thinks I made her cry he attacks me. also he hates being messed with unless he comes to you and by God don't ignore him lol

I have a cat that is the exact same way. I always thought it was because we got her from the humane society and she was abused as a kitten. Glad to know Im not the only one out there with the same problem.

Sounds like she is what I like to call a "diva cat." Lots of female cats act this way, especially when they are older. Tortoiseshell and calico cats can be more "opinionated" too.

Now, if your cat is a kitten, that's a different story. She needs some work on accepting handling. Don't pet her much at one time, and pair petting with treats or a favorite toy (one stroke, one treat, pause, repeat...when she's good with this, two strokes, one treat, etc.).

Iwonder how old she is and where did she come from? This info would be helpful. Did you raise her from a kitten? As has already been pointed out, cats and dogs all have their own unique personalities. Just give her her space and if she comes to you for love and affection, just be sure to indulge her!

Some cats are just like this, especially females. We had a cat growing up who acted just like yours. Unfortunately 13 years later she is still the same way. Hopefully yours gets better! Good luck!

Cats are very independent creatures. I have some that only want to be loved at certain times and in certain areas of the house. Just accept your cat for what she is and give her plenty of love when she wants it.

They all have the own personalities, just like people. My little guy can go from pure evil to an angel in a matter of minutes...I think he is bi-polar sometimes.
