It is very hard to fathom to us humans but if the Bible is true, which I personally believe, he has always been. "In the beginning God created the heaven and earth". So God was here before the beginning of time. I know it's hard to comprehend but that is where faith comes in.

Societies throughout history have always created Gods to explain that which could not be explained. Religion is a God of The Gaps so to speak. It exists to answer something for which a mundane explanation cannot currently be found. People of the Hellenistic era believed a God named Helios pulled the sun across the sky with his chariot and this brought night. In Norse mythology thunder and lightning are caused by Thor using his hammer.

We now know however that Earth is actually revolving and that one side is away from the sun temporarily and that thunder and lightning are caused by airfronts meeting. Thus the gap is closed and there is no more need for Helios and Thor so nobody follows them.

When asked “Who or what created God?,” we are making the assumption that God was created. If God exists outside of time and space, and if He is the Creator of time and space, He obviously was not created! God began the beginning! This is why He says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”

This has always been a perplexing question.

The quick answer is nobody created God, he always existed.

This is the basis of his absolute authority and power. God exists outside of the fabric of time, since time only exists where matter exists, and God is not made of matter as we know it. Therefore, he is not limited or confined by time. It is impossible for finite beings like ourselves to comprehend something eternal like God, but that's the beauty of it: if we could comprehend God and where he came from, he wouldn't be God.

But in one sentence, the answer is God has always been.

He is the I Am. He just is.

Oh, and for the genius who claimed that man created God and religion: if man created God, then who created man? Just thought I would throw that out there.

For those of you who believe in evolution like our friend above, why would man have evolved the need for something that didn't exist? That would by definition weaken the ability for man to survive. But the same people who say man created religion as a salve for his emotional problems turn around and say that religion is the greatest opression afflicting mankind. That makes tons of sense.

The Most Important Commandment*

[3:18] GOD bears witness that there is no god except He, and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge. Truthfully and equitably, He is the absolute god; there is no god but He, the Almighty, Most Wise.

Sura - 112 Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)
Order Of Revelation 22, Verses: 4

[112:0] In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

[112:1] Proclaim, "He is the One and only GOD.

[112:2] "The Absolute GOD.

[112:3] "Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten.

[112:4] "None equals Him."

God

[24:35] GOD is the light of the heavens and the earth. The allegory of His light is that of a concave mirror behind a lamp that is placed inside a glass container. The glass container is like a bright, pearl-like star. The fuel thereof is supplied from a blessed oil-producing tree, that is neither eastern, nor western. Its oil is almost self-radiating; needs no fire to ignite it. Light upon light. GOD guides to His light whoever wills (to be guided). GOD thus cites the parables for the people. GOD is fully aware of all things.

[24:36] (God's guidance is found) in houses exalted by GOD, for His name is commemorated therein. Glorifying Him therein, day and night -

One God
[21:21] Have they found gods on earth who can create?

[21:22] If there were in them (the heavens and the earth) other gods beside GOD, there would have been chaos. Glory be to GOD; the Lord with absolute authority. He is high above their claims.

Never Question God's Wisdom
[21:23] He is never to be asked about anything He does, while all others are questioned.

[21:24] Have they found other gods beside Him? Say, "Show me your proof. This is the message to my generation, consummating all previous messages." Indeed, most of them do not recognize the truth; this is why they are so hostile.

One God/One Message/One Religion
[21:25] We did not send any messenger before you except with the inspiration: "There is no god except Me; you shall worship Me alone."

[21:26] Yet, they said, "The Most Gracious has begotten a son!" Glory be to Him. All (messengers) are (His) honored servants.

[21:27] They never speak on their own, and they strictly follow His commands.

The Myth of Intercession
[21:28] He knows their future and their past. They do not intercede, except for those already accepted by Him, and they are worried about their own necks.

Christians cannot answer this simply because they have lost their ties to the Talmud and the Kabbalah, which hold the answer. In their assertion that the Bible is the only innerant source of knowledge of G-D, they have become the ignorant fools they call the non-believers.

In the beginning there was Ayin, that is, the nothingness so utterly NOTHING that to say, "It is nothing" is to define it and make it no longer be Ayin. To understand Ayin, one must ask not, "What is it," but "what is it not?" "Is it a chair? No." "Is it itself divine? No." "Is it something? No." "Does it exist? No." "Is it nonexistant? No." Ask every question of the nature of it, and the answer is no. When you have asked all such possible questions, what is left is Ayin. It is from Ayin that the Worshipped G-D comes. It is profound to understand, "G-D comes from nothing."

This is NOT to say that G-D did not have a beginning, only that G-D did not come from something else.

Man created god as an explanation on how things came to be. Way back when, people knew nothing of science and had to explain creation some how.

This which I'm about to share is not opinion, it is considered and educated belief. In another post I shared what I call Dot theology and also my brand of Systematic Theology (which is not what bible scholars study) wherein I allude to systems such as your computer being a closed system within the open system called "room" which is a closed system in the open system of building and essentially gravitate outwards to the point wherein we find G-d in an open system. We find that in understanding the logic of my systematic theology, that the rules for the greater (open) system do not apply to the lesser (closed), neither does all the rules that would apply to the child apply to the parent. Suffice to say, in this illustration one must think outside the box. You cannot expect that the rules of the created apply equally to the Creator.

if God was created as some people say then it would have taken a God to do so, and then you would get someone asking who made this other God and the question would go on indefinitely.
eventually it would descend into stupidity.

God is the Alpha and Omega. Beginning and end. He was there from the beginning. All things started in Him. He is the only uncreated Reality.
