Not necessarily. He may have picked it up before he met you and passed it on. Doesnt mean he's cheated while he's with you, but you cant exactly rule it out either I'm afraid

Instead of pointing fingers to each other, I think you both need to see a doctor together fast. Lots of people can have chlamydia and may not know it. In some people, the symptoms may take up to 3 weeks to appear, whilst some may never develop any symptoms at all. So this may mean you might have been infected long before you met your present boyfriend or the the opposite could have happened to him as well.
As I said visit a doctor together so as to erase the disease from both of you. Once treated, you should have protected sex and treatment doesn't mean you will be immune from it again. If you don't practise safe sex, then next time it will be HIV.

OMG poor you....don't ever get back with this guy and make it your business to let everyone know what a dirty little weasel he is...don't have him pass this on to anyone else...i feel for you hun.....i hope that you get this cured...STD's these days are much worse than they were way back then, and if i were you, i would get an AIDS test too...this guy has to be stopped, warn people about him....call him and tell the dirty dog what he's passing round, he could be infecting anyone out there right now...Clalmidia is a serious infection, he has to be stopped before he does further damage....get him back good...

~ Chlamydia is VD.~ You both have to take medication for that. I think he gave it to you. Fortunately, it's treatable. I would get an HIV test as well. Read up on it in the link below. Good Luck.~
Chlamydia Symptoms
Up to 90% of women and men with chlamydia do not have symptoms.2
The time between exposure to chlamydia and the start of symptoms—the incubation period—may range from days to months. If symptoms appear, it is usually 1 to 3 weeks after sexual contact with an infected person.
Symptoms in women include:

Abnormal vaginal discharge.
Abnormal vaginal bleeding with intercourse or between periods.
Genital itching.
Irregular menstrual bleeding.
Lower abdominal pain.
Fever and general tiredness.
Swollen and painful glands at the opening of the vagina (Bartholin glands).
Conjunctivitis.
Symptoms in men include:
Painful urination or itching sensation with urination (often the first symptom).
Cloudy urine.
Watery or slimy discharge from the penis.
Crusting on the tip of the penis.
Tender anus or scrotum.
Conjunctivitis.

You never know... You could have had it or he could have had it before you started sleeping together and did not know. Clymidia has no signs really that STAND out and let you know you have it like most other std's... best thing to do is just ask. Or you can ask the doctor what stage you we're at and see if he could tell you about how long you have had it.

Well..it's possible. Have you been to the doctor any other time during your relationship? If so, then were your tests clean? If they were and they are dirty now, then yes, he has been unfaithful. OR..he had it before you got together and you just now found out you had it. You better talk to him about that!! Not good.

Maybe you got it from the hospital..... Well you do hear these terrible stories about people going in for a simple operation and then getting an MRSA and stuck in a wheel chair for the rest of their lives.....
You have to ask your self did that doctor wash the instruments well enough.
