You will be sore for a week or so, and if you have metal braces it is likely you will get some sores on the inside of you lips. Eat milk shakes yogurt and cut up solid foods in liitle pieces. Avoid spicy or acidy foods like pizza or Orange Juice if you get sores. You will be used to them before you know it, when they tighten them, you will have brief periods of soreness again, but not as bad

good luck!

Yes it will get easier, you just have to get used to eating with metal in your mouth. After the first few days you should be able to eat normal again.

until eventually you spend hours and hours an afternoon eating, you're eliminating any detachable dental instruments until eventually now you consume. in the event that they do no longer look to be detachable, confident it gets much less confusing. I had braces for terribly nearly 3 years. It gets further and added mushy and you eventually forget they are there.

It will totally get easier. Stick with it. Dont give up. Any discomfort now will be worth it in the end. Dont worry. its normal. I had braces for years.

I got braces 2 days ago. My the third or fourth day, you'll feel better. Cut everything up into smaller things. Its hard to tear food with front teeth. Aspirin will become you best buddy.

Your teeth will stop hurting in a few days, however they will be sensitive every time you get them adjusted. Your teeth are being moved, so it will hurt. Take a Tylenol and an Advil, you can take one every four to six hours to help deal with the pain (along with the soft food)
