He should have had elves for followers instead of disciples. Things would have been much different had that been the case.

HO HO HO!!

first off Jesus was not cheap. Lets see, he gave his life for all of us and i mean all of us. even though some us run around the world and act like complete fools, killing, raping, stealing all the stupid stuff. think about it would u give your life for the world like he did, ???? mmmmmmmmm don't think soo. second, Santa is something man made us. and he wasn't cheap. go back and read, he took 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread and feed thousands of people. that says a lot in it self. so in my opinion he was not cheap and he is still giving to us now. Sometimes we just don't see it or understand it. so when u give thanks in whatever way u give it just be thankful for life cause some people are not even here. to experience any of the stuff that we go through now. peace love and happiness. and i hope u have a great holiday!!!!!

Cheap? Can you call opening the eyes of the blind cheap? How about raising the dead? healing lepers? Feeding 5 000 with just 5 loaves and two fishes is cheap?
Can your santa do that?

Read this passage from the Bible:

The Rich Young Man

16Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?"

17"Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments."

    18"Which ones?" the man inquired.

Jesus replied, " 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, 19honor your father and mother,'[d] and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'[e]"

20"All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?"

21Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

22When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

23Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

25When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved?"

26Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

27Peter answered him, "We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?"

28Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother[f] or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

He clearly tells us that anything that we give up for Him He will give back to us a hundred times as much and will inherit ETERNAL LIFE!

What greater gift could our heavenly father give to us?
none

For His Fame,

He heals, gives, teaches, raises the dead, performs miracles, and most of all gave His life just to save us. He loves us so much. He is King, but He chose to die for us. He suffered the consequences of sin- for us who are not deserving to be saved. He gave us the greatest gift- His life. He gave it for free so that we can spend eternity in heaven with Him. Is that what you call cheap?

Jesus was a poor man but he gave his life to save us from sin.

I think you need glasses.

Jesus blessed the children and He healed many children of sicknesses. One girl was dead and He gave her life back to her. That's a gift don't you agree?????.

Go read it for yourself.

Being as how he was a poor vagabond carpenter I doubt he had much money to give to kids.

He gave the kids the right to eternal life. That's a pretty big gift.
