Long term heavy usage of weed can cause some damage according to research, like short-term memeory loss, paranoia, mood swings, depression and in extreme cases schizophrenia.
I think this is a little general though, I think some people choose to smoke weed to cover up their depression/mental peoblems, then it gets worse over time coz they ignored it. I have smoked it for years and am fine - in a good job, am happy and not too psycho yet!!
Alcohol - long term heavy usage - liver damage mainly, which can be life threatening. Lots of other issues too but a lot can be attributed to an overall unhealthy lifesyle.
Everything in moderation I think!
As for the most dangerous drug, I don't know. It depends if you mean over a long period of time, or dangerous immediately... Long term I actually thinking cigarettes or alcohol abuse are dangerous, short term probably heroin or some cr*ppy chemical based drug.

Yes they do. Weed has more psychological effects than physical, though you do get a smokers cough which looks suspicious if you don't smoke cigarettes. With weed, the strenght varies so the stronger it is the more damage it causes. Alcohol causes severe liver damage, especially cirrhosis of the liver. It also causes you to act like an idiot when you're drunk. The most addictive (illegal) drug is heroin, supposedly, so I guess its the most dangerous in that repsect.

Yes to both. Difficult to say - one can drive you into the loony bin, the other into - the loony bin. On the whole, alcohol affects more body systems from bones on out, and will kill you eventually if you overdo it long enough, so you'll be a healthier nut case on weed, providing you have not been using it in conjunction with tobacco, of course:)

Drink in moderation can have health benifits, weed on the other hand ,apart from being a moderate painkiller in some instances ,cant be classed as benificial to health,in fact even moderate use can make you paranoid long term.and if you are smoking it ,you have lung cancer potencial.
so i am hoping none but the idiots will be proclaiming its value,to the many young and vunerable people on this site, just waiting for an excuse to use it .

I know of 2 seperate people in their 20's badly affected by both.
1 had to be admitted to a mental institution with serious problems after smoking too much weed.
The other was in hospital for several months with severe liver damage brought on by too much alcohol.

long term use can develop long term effects. have you heard of cirrhosis?
meth is extremely addictive and destructive. but, prescription drug abuse is also very hard to kick because of the nature of the chemicals specifically designed to affect parts of the brain.

I'd ask my friend Chris about the alcohol question, but sadly I can't. She died of cirrhosis of the liver aged 48....brought about by too much alcohol consumption...
I suppose that that answers your question then...
