Did you get Flash Professional 8? Or just the Flash player? To make flash files, you have to buy the program & it costs $699 US.
I think that there may be another program that you can get that's just contains some of the features out of the more expensive software, so if you are interested in this you should add it to your question.

Flash Player does not mean that you are going to build flash animation/application. Buy Flash 8 Software.

Hi,
Please do tell if you have downloaded the player, or the flash basic/professional. If it is the flash player, no, its not sufficient that you download flash player to make flash animations/movies. You need to get Flash 8 Basic/Professional. You can get a 30 day trial download from here : http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/basic/

Flash Player 8, PLAYS flash, not makes it.
I can't program it, but this is a well recommended site that has lots of how-to's and helpful guides.

you can download flash by going to www.adobe.com
then go to downloads
you have to keep your computer working for more than 8 hours, if you have this muc hof capacity then you can download flash player 8

The player alone will not allow you to create. You must obtain the pro software version. This can be found at http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/flashpro/

u need flash software and take the tutorials,tools are easy , just like paint.u can easily create simple animations.just dont give up.
