Educate yourself and be prepared for the ignorance of others.
This applys to any religion. I'm a Wiccan/Pagan and contrary to popular belief it is NOT Satanism. Primairly we/I believe that we are given the power to do what we need to in life, we merely must find the way to tap into that. Rituals and such help focus the mind. Your MIND is your greatest tool and gift from ANY creator....
Be true to yourself and you will find the right path.
God doesn't care what faith you have...as long as you HAVE faith.

There isn't any "meant to be Wiccan," any more than a person is "meant to be Christian" or any other religion. People are drawn to Wicca if they have both a sense of wonder & enchantment with the world around them, an awareness of energies or entities that most people don't acknowledge, and a willingness to take full responsibility for all of their actions--there is no external salvation in Wicca.
If you're interested in learning more about Wicca, to find out if it appeals to you, check out http://www.witchvox.com and the Wiccan Church of Canada's FAQ at http://www.wcc.on.ca/faq/faq1.html.

The same way I knew I was meant to be an Atheist. Ask yourself why you want to be a wiccan? Is it what you truly believe or are you doing it to follow a trend or fit a mold? Be honest with yourself on this one.

This is why there's the year and a day before initiation--to allow you to make that decision while you study. You can back out at any time. Google "Wicca" plus the name of the nearest large town to you, and go to the store or gathering that turns up. How you feel there will say a lot.

I know a couple of Wiccans and let me tell you they're not satanists or evil people. I'm a Christian by the way.
Many religions have similar views. Not one religion has monopoly of Good. Or evil.
Get to understand them and their philosophy, approach them if you can, that way you can decide for yourself. No one else can tell you that.

Basically, you're meant to be a wiccan if you have no faith in God, which would make you an atheist, which would make you stupid. So basically , if you want to be a wiccan, you need to be a stupid atheist first.
