I really don't think that this is what you'd call love. I think that it's more of a crush. Although it is possible to like someone you have never met. It's happened to me so many times before, and yes. it's a strange thing, but it happens. Maybe you could introduce yourself to him, and if it's meant to happen, it'll happen, but if it isn't, then at least you know you tried.
Crush's can be triggered by someone's looks or smell. You can have a crush on someone in just a few minutes...
Good luck with him anyways

The problem is your falling in love with words.. whether it be words in a letter or email or IM.. People should be very careful of this, because people can act a certain way on here and then be totally different.. It actually happened to me once... He was an awesome guy online, and said everything right, and I actually seen him on the webcam... turned out after I met him, he didn't like to bathe.. lol.. YUK!!!!!!Plus he was a very jealous and insecure person... Couldn't deal with all that!!! Had to say goodbye!!! Its a matter of hearing what you want to hear, but you must hear with your brain first not your heart..The heart can listen later..

Loving someone you never met isn't possible, you can have a really good feeling that when you meet them that you will as love at first site is very real and very possible but the feeling that you feel is just that, having the feeling that you will when you meet them.

I don't think you can love them. I think you can love the idea of them, but thy may not be at all who you think they are. Without physical or face to face contact, you don't know what you really have. I know a girl who talked to a guy online for 8 years and stuff like that. He finally showed up here last month to find a 300 pound woman waiting when he thought he was getting the 130 pound woman she sent him a picture of. He is still here, but certainly disappointed and how will he trust her now?

You can't. You love the idea of them that you imagine but in reality I don't think you can truly love someone you've never met.

Hmm.. love someone you're never met? maybe be infatuated with someone you're never met. Love has way to many dementions to work without meeting. infatuation can happen with lust, and longing.

You can be infatuated with them but not in love. Love takes getting to know someone and spending time with them. The internet doesn't really count as time spent together because you don't really know who you're talking to.

It's Really Easy!! I had this phone relationship and I loved the guy. When we meet it was so much better!! We dated for 6 months and it was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Remember that the heart never lies.... Follow it. Good luck!

By falling in love with the way they treat you when you talk with them (that may include telephonic conversation or even chatting)
You start loving their nature, their way of thinking, the way they listen you & understand your thinkings........ there are many reasons.
It sounds weird but Its not that much hard to love a person without meeting him/her.
