I was beginning to get addicted to ambien the sleep aid, and one morning in the back of my head a voice said get the pills and flush them now! so i did right away and i told my doctor not to give them to me anymore because of the effects ambein caused, was that God or my spirit guide because thta medication was very addictive to me, i am very sensative when it comes to meds.

I believe it was the Holy Spirit which the Father sends to us to guide us, comfort us and lead us into all truth.
John 16:13
13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

It was God...knowing spirit guides...they are demons...they disguise themselves as other things...but overall they are just demons...descendants of satan...descendents of the king of LIES...they were the ones KEEPING you on those pills...but God knows you..he knows everything about you...he knew how you were feeling about those pills...he wanted you not to live off those pills..but he wants you to live in him...he's giving you a chance to enter his kingdom...all you gots to do is trust in him...give your heart to Christ...im not tryin to sound like a wise-guy...but its the TOTAL TRUTH...im just sharin' a treasure i found that has changed my life...so hope this answers your question...PEACE AND GODBLESS!!

Ambien has been proven to cause manic-depression ,suicidal thoughts, and a whole host of other psychological/neurological problems,I'd say it was your newly-developed split personality that spoke to you.

It was a side effect of either the meds, sleep deprivation or both. There is no god or "spirit guide"

I heard a voice in my head just a few minutes ago. It said to me. "Go make coffee"
Clearly, this is not a voice of someone/something else ... It's ME!
Even if the voice said - "Go shoot John Lennon" it would still be ME. It wasn't, it was Mark Chapman, a loonie born-again christian. It is so easy to blame voices in the head ...
